Today the Prison Officers’ Association have ACCEPTED the WRC Proposals “Review of Building Momentum Public Service Agreement” with 93% of the members that voted, accepting the proposals.

Pay Proposal
The pay proposals will see public sector workers receive an increase of 6.5% across this year and next year.
- 3% backdated to 2nd February 2022.
- 2% from 1st March 2023 and
- 1.5% or €750 (whichever is greater) from 1st October 2023.
This is in addition to increases of up to 3% agreed under the existing public sector pay deal ‘Building Momentum’.
The Prison Officers Association will cast our votes as mandated at a meeting of the ICTU Public Services Committee to be held on Friday 07th October 2022.
